Washington State, Idaho and Heading To Montana - 2008
After we left Oregon, we headed to Washington with the express purpose of getting by to see my niece Janice and her family. We had never been to Washington...or to their home in Fall City, just outside Seattle. We had fun visiting with them, and seeing more breathtaking country. While we were in Washington, we did some sightseeing in the Seattle area (with Janice and her family guiding), drove down to Mt. Rainier National Park, plus Snoqualmie. Washington is called the Evergreen State with good reason. How lush and green it all was and the flowers and flowering vegetation was truly marvelous.
From Washington we head east to Idaho, and encountered some flooding.
By this time we had secured our summer Workamper positions on Hebgen Lake, just outside West Yellowstone (the town is one mile from the western entrance to Yellowstone National Park.) Once we left Janice, John and their family ,we began to travel in earnest in order to reach Hebgen Lake and Yellowstone Holiday RV Park and Marina as soon as possible. The next extended adventure was ahead!
